What does it take to become a naval diver? Come and find out how we turn boys into one of the toughest fighters in our armed forces! Our elite naval divers will demonstrate their prowess, strength and endurance in a gruelling boat physical training at the Amphitheatre of VivoCity, Level 3. These tough boys will be heaving 80kg dinghies while doing push-ups, pull-ups, tosses and squats. You will also have a chance to meet them up-close to capture those unforgettable Wefies.

Do you have queries about the "Storytelling" sessions? Read below for the answers to your questions.
Q1. How old should my child be to attend the storytelling session?
A1. The stories are recommended for 4 to 8 year olds.
Q2. What language will the storytelling be conducted in?
A2. The stories will be told in English.
Q3. How long is each session?
A3. Each session is 30 minutes.
Q4. If we are late, may we join in after the session has started?
A4. Attendees who are late by more than 5 minutes will not be allowed to join the session to prevent disruption to others.
Q5. Can we join the next session if we missed our scheduled session?
A5. Please approach our staff on-site for assistance. We will try to facilitate if there are available slots.
Q6. If we are unable to attend the session, may we exchange it for another timing?
A6. Please approach our staff on-site for assistance.
Q7. Do we need to remove our shoes in the room and if so, do we need to wear socks?
A7. Shoes will not be allowed in the room, but attendees are not required to wear socks.
Q8. Are we allowed to eat or drink in the room?
A8. Consumption of food and drinks will not be allowed in the room.
Q9. May I bring more than 1 child if they are within the age group? If so, what is the maximum number of children that each adult may bring?
A9. Every child who attends the storytelling sessions will require a ticket. Each ticket admits 1 child and 1 accompanying adult.
Q10. Can 2 children attend instead of 1 adult and 1 child?
A10. Each ticket admits only 1 child and 1 accompanying adult. You will need to have two tickets.
Q11. If my child is independent enough, may he / she attend unaccompanied?
A11. It is strongly encouraged for each child to be accompanied by an adult.
Q12. May I bring my infant along to the session?
A12. Yes, however you may be asked to step out of the room if the child is disruptive.
Q13. Can 2 adults accompany 1 child?
A13. Nope, each ticket is for the entry of 1 child and 1 accompanying adult.
Q14. How early do we need to arrive?
A14. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts to facilitate a smooth registration experience.
Q15. If my child is unwell, may we still attend?
A15. If your child is unwell, it will be best that he/she not attend the session to prevent infecting others.
Q16. Are the storybooks for sale?
A16. The storybooks are not for sale, however you may borrow them from all public libraries in Singapore. You may also choose to download the e-books at https://www.mindef.gov.sg/navy/ahoy-ebooks.htm.
Do you have queries about "The Real Frogmen" performanes? Read below for the answers to your questions.
Q1. What language will the performances be conducted in?
A1. The performance will be conducted in English.
Q2. Will there be allocated seats?
A2. The performance is free seating at the amphitheatre.
Q3. Will there be loud noises during the show?
A3. During the PT segment, there will be some shouting and the 80kg boat will make a loud noise when it strikes the ground.
Q4. If we are late, may we join in after the session has started?
A4. Attendees who are late for more than 5 minutes will be admitted at a suitable juncture as determined by the staff on-site, so as to not cause disruptions to the show.
Q5. How long is the the entire show?
A5. The duration of each performance is about an hour.
Q6. If we are unable to attend the session, may we exchange it for other timings?
A6. Please approach our staff on-site for assistance.
Q7. May we pass the tickets to other people if we are unable to attend?
A7. Yes. In addition to the ticket, your representative have to present a copy of your photo ID, which shows your NRIC number, for verification.
Q8. Are we allowed to eat or drink during the show?
A8. Yes, you may consume food and drinks during the performance but please dispose of the containers/wrappers after that.
Q9. May I bring my infant along to the session? Do I need a ticket for him / her?
A9. Yes, infant-in-arms are allowed to attend and will not require a ticket if the child does not occupy a seat. However, do note that there will be some loud sounds during the PT segment.
Q10. How early do we need to arrive?
A10. Please arrive 10 minutes before the session to facilitate smooth registration.
Q11. In case of rain, will the performance be cancelled?
A11. The organisers reserve all rights to cancel the performance in the event of bad weather.
Q12. If the performance is cancelled, will I be given a replacement ticket?
A12. There will be no replacement ticket issued for performances that are cancelled.
Q13. Can people with mobility issues watch the performance at the amphitheatre?
A13. Yes, everyone is welcome to join us at the amphitheatre for the performance.
Do you have queries about the ship tour and the Fast Craft Utility ride? Read below for the answers to your questions.
Q1. Who is eligible to register for the ticket?
A1. Registration is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only, who are 16 years old and above. However, Singaporeans can bring non-Singaporean family and friends for the ship visit and FCU ride.
Q2. What is the maximum number of tickets that I can apply for?
A2. Each NRIC holder is limited to one successful application only. Applicants may apply for a maximum of 4 tickets.
Q3. Why is there a need for allocated entry timeslots?
A3. This is to facilitate ease of entry on board the ship and the FCU ride as high volume of visitors is expected.
Q4. I am unable to attend the event. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
A4. Yes. In addition to the ticket, your representative have to present either your photo ID which shows your NRIC number or a copy of it for verification.
Q5. Can I sell my tickets to other people?
A5. The sales of tickets is strictly prohibited. The organiser reserves the right to deny entry to anyone with tickets that are obtained through sales.
Q6. Why do I need to provide my personal data such as NRIC during the registration?
A6. Personal data will be used for registration, verification, notification and distribution of tickets. All personal data will be kept private and confidential.
Q7. How will I know whether my registration is successful?
A7. Confirmation email will be sent to the email provided in your registration within 2 hours.
Q8. Do I have to print the confirmation email?
A8. You may print out the confirmation email, alternatively, you may flash the confirmation email through your mobile device for verification purposes.
Q9. I have accidentally deleted the confirmation email. How can I retrieve it?
A9. You can email us with your NRIC number and contact number at navyatvivo19@defence.gov.sg, using the email that you have provided to request for the ticket again. Upon validation, we will re-issue the e-ticket.
Q10. Can I use driving licence for verification?
A10. Yes, all photo IDs which shows your name and NRIC number can be use for verification.
Q11. Can I board the ship / FCU if I am late?
A11. Visitors will be granted entry for ship tour / FCU ride based on the allocated timeslot. Due to the expected high volume of visitors, latecomers may not be allowed to board the ship / FCU. You are advised to arrive 15 minutes (for ship tour) / 20 minutes (for FCU ride) before the allocated boarding time for the security screening and safety brief.
Q12. Can I take photos on board the ship / FCU?
A12. Yes, photography is allowed; you can bring cameras and camera phones on board the ship / FCU.
Q13. Will my child require a ticket for entry?
A13. Yes, children are required to have a ticket for entry. Each ticket admits one visitor (adult or child) only. Infant in arms (including in baby carrier) are not allowed for the ship tour and children under 0.9m are not allowed for the FCU ride.
Q14. Who are not eligible for the ship tour and FCU ride?
A14. For the ship tour, visitors with mobility difficulties, infant in arms (including in baby carrier) or pregnant women will not be allowed to participate in the ship tour due to steep staircases and narrow passageways on board the ship.
Children under 0.9m, pregnant women and those with mobility difficulties will not be allowed on the FCU ride. Visitors with motion sickness or health problems (such as history of heart conditions, seizures or high blood pressure) are advised to not participate in the FCU ride. This is because the FCU ride will conduct high speed manoeuvres and might encounter choppy waves.
Q15. What do I need to do before boarding the ship / FCU?
A15. All visitors are required to undergo security screening and a safety brief. For the FCU ride, life jackets will be issued and have to be worn throughout the ride.
Q16. Is there any dress code for the ship tour and FCU ride?
A16. For safety reasons, high heels, sandals, slippers or any open-toed footwear are strictly prohibited. Ladies are advised not to wear skirts or dresses.
Q17. Am I allowed to re-enter the ship / FCU after exiting?
A17. Re-entry will not be allowed.
Q18. Do I get a replacement ticket if the ship tour / FCU ride is suspended by the organiser?
A18. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances or safety reasons, including, but not limited to inclement weather, the organiser reserves the right to suspend or cancel any FCU ride and the ship may be closed for tours. No compensation or replacement tickets will be given.
Q19. Can I smoke on board the ship/FCU?
A19. Smoking is not allowed on board the ship and FCU.
Q20. Can I eat or drink on board the ship / FCU?
A20. Consumption of food and beverage is prohibited.
Q21. Can I bring my pets along with me?
A21. Pets will not be allowed on board the ship and FCU.
